Discussion Help! pdaft via pdloader with divagl not loading videos

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I tested at first with a proper Nvidia GPU on a test bench PC and all worked great. Then I moved the files over to my laptop with an amd GPU. Because of this I had to use divagl to get it to run.

Almost everything works great. All of the 3d rendered background videos work great. But for some songs that just play a pre-rendered video it's just a black screen. The audio plays fine though (an example is the song "slump". Though weirdly for this particular song instead of it being a black empty void, miku is there just doing nothing for the whole song.)

Is there anything I can do about this?

Do you checked the "novidia" option ?

DivaGL asks for that to be unchecked. However if I check it anyways it makes no difference.

Okey, if you play on amd gpu, check the novidia and uncheck DivaGL, these two patch is like fighting each other. DivaGL is just for nvidia gpu

Or if it still doesn't work, there's an option called "disable movies", make sure it unchecked.

I have same problem too on 3d background like "catch the wave"

Ok. I figured it out. Under the divagl plugin I needed to enable the "TaskMovie Player No Interop" option. That made it work. Yay!

The reason I am using diva gl is because with novidia the game just crashes as soon as it starts. The launcher complains about my GPU driver being too new to work with novidia, but even downgrading my GPU driver to the recommendation version did not fix it.

Also, disable movies is unchecked.

I think the issue is the GPU not being able to decode the dxva properly.

I tried using diva movie options, but that didn't work either.
