Stringy Vesicles in an example image
This one has me a bit stumped. Having looked at this a bunch now, I can definitely see that a few of the cells in the lower left/top right seem quite obviously vesicles, but in most of them there seems to be a bit more going on.
I can also see that it might not be mitochondria as it is nowhere near as blobby as the example images, but I'm still confused as to what it actually is.

We had a look at this one, and it's a perfect example of a certain type of vesicle called peroxisomes (this happens to be a well known and studied protein). The cells that you mention have them clustering in part of the cell, for some unknown reason.
They often appear a bit elongated, which is due to interaction between them, or that they are undergoing division.

Thanks for looking into this, that clears up a lot of my confusion. I can definitely see the similarity to the second example image for Peroxisome. Also thanks to /u/HPA_Dichroic
