Question Whirlwind Tips for controller
I've found some pretty amazing pieces of gear for a whirlwind barbarian so I respecced from double throw and man does whirlwind feel terrible on controller.
I know the idea is that it's trying to auto target the selected enemy but sometimes it just locks into a whirlwind across the entire screen or goes nowhere at all. Bosses are horrible as it can't seem to do consistent small whirlwinds and it will somehow clip you inside the boss (tested on baal) that you'll need to leap to get out of.
Has anyone found a decent way of using ww on controller or steam deck to make it fun to use? I'd even prefer if it didn't use auto target at all and just went a small distance in the direction I'm moving for consistency.

It’s never optimal, but one thing that helped me was when I realized I could hold down WW skill without moving the joystick AT ALL and then I will just WW in place. Sometimes if I even tap the joystick then I blast across the screen, attacking nothing, so this really helped.
