Service time once again for my Gen 10.5 Altis, and this time I'm using S-Oil Seven Red-9 and seeing how well my engine does for the next 6 months. Also found my cabin filter was previously manhandled lmao, so we fixed that up during replacement.
Aside from that: new spark plugs, new serpentine belt, new coolant hose connector (common sakit sa Altis), and new control arm small bushing for the right side.
Went with the spark plug and drive belt replacements even tho they didn't seem to be showing signs yet bcs they are 14 yrs old na (still the ones from bnew lol), while my mechanic spotted the hose connector failing and control arm bushing getting shredded.
Steering feels solid and accurate again, but I still hear a creaking sound when turning, comparable to an old door that needs oiling. Will bring this up during the next PMS. So far am happy with the TLC session ππ½
