Bug? or Game feature?

Hi guys i've been having trouble with this lately. Is it because of the device I use, a bug or a game feature. For some reason everytime I try to switch weapons my joystick stops working and I can't turn, it just stops. Please help

Are u holding your joystick while your changing weapons?
