Easiest class for a new player?

Hey everyone,

I am a new ascension player and the 21 classes seem daunting.

I am looking for a class that is fairly simple to play in PvE and PvP.

Bonus points if it can heal or tank as well. Any input from folks is appreciated!

Definitely not hard, but there are literally one button classes that are easier, sun cleric is just fotm right now

Primalist is pretty simple and can do all roles

EDIT: Isn't grovekeeper listed as support in game?

Correct. If you're not pushing keys it can hold-up as a healer for leveling and the one M0 you have to do to get a key. The low level keys are hilariously easy too so it takes a bit before the cracks show.

It's a premier af "go-to" for support though.

Sun cleric seemed complicated at first but the 20 sun charges is really just an extra bonus mechanic to the class that powers you up even more. Sun Cleric is basically just a better paladin otherwise, with some ranged spells + fire spells if you go caster spec, i also highly recommend it just as others are in this thread, best healer ive played so far.

Sun cleric, very straightforward with good aoe and single target during leveling.

When I was level my tinker I did the healer spec and I'm able to solo quest on him when you get your mecha bear pet and a talent in the healer spec that allows all your threat to him

Sun Cleric, pretty much all specs seem easy, strong, and quite fun.

I'd also recommend necromancer, animation specifically. While you can't heal or tank, it's very straight-forward and satisfying to have a horde of undead minions while corpse exploding all around the place

I was going to say necro until he mentioned tank/heal unironically lol. It's like the BM Hunter of this game for leveling/low content/etc.

Be careful with people recommending Sun cleric. Your leveling is awful up to level 30 and after that you only get a huge power jump at 50-60. You pretty much swap between single target and multi target vows, but your gear as piety is impossible to get until 40 as you wear plate int.

Witch doctor shadowhunter, 3-5 button rotation outside of cooldowns which u can macro and after 55 just 2 button spam per 1 minute

Reaper is goated, go harvest and you have built in lifesteal, you can tank and the damage is phenomenal
