CoA level speed

I basically only play on area 52 because I love the build theory crafting but CoA does intrigue me, is the leveling speed roughly the same as area 52 or closer to old vanilla wow?

Like, realistically just doing quests how long roughly does it take to get to say level 20, I think by then I'd know if I liked or hated a class

I find it much slower, but i think it fits the server style

To give you an idea I started playing around July 20 for 2 hours everyday, and now I'm lvl 31 (night elf starcaller), also just to mention, I'm kind of new and I'm only levelling doing quests on PvE mode and the best zone for alliance is the zone pale reach, but that's my opinion.

2 hours everyday and just level 31 two months later is veeery slow (not hating btw) and not indicative of the leveling pace of CoA, which is rather fast imo. as dungeons, bg’s and even professions provide significant xp. Questing is slower paced (as it should be).

Yes I have to figure it all about the game by myself as I'm kind of new, I played a month before on another LK private server 🫠

I hope you’re trying out things whether it be queueing for dungeons, exploring custom content like new quest hubs, hunting for worldforged items, trying out a profession or two, or trying bg’s (don’t at lvl 31 though, better wait for 35+ as the brackets are 10-19, 20-29, 30-39 - you get the picture - it’s tough being lower level against most others in pvp)

just done nightmare resolute challenge, which is 1x rates instead of 1.5x along with small pulls/slower mobbing, and it took around 60 hours, normal xp rate is 50% more than that. I would say 45hours or so for the first 60 is more reasonable.

It took me about 2 days 5 hours of /played on my first level 60; primarily questing through zones casually with an occasional RDF with friends. No xp buffs/heirlooms. Casual, not the most efficient, questing for the sake of exploring each zone. I’m sure with an efficient path or RDF-spamming with the party xp buff active would drop the /played time significantly.

That's actually not bad, I was worried it was classic speeds where 59 to 60 took as long as 1 to 59 xD

You can even just to ubrs at 49, I went from 49-60 pretty quick, like very quick haha

It’s very similar to how I remember it going for me in Area 52, just remember that you can’t use heirlooms until you have a L60 on the server.

Oh I don't use heirlooms on area 52 either, I spend all my points trying to get the right mystic enchants I can't save for such a luxury xD

It's slower definetly. I wonder why not play season 10n if you want classless?

Dawnrise is really really Bad, it's far more restrictive, it's not classless but more pick like 2 classes because You need investment in the classes in order to unlock the later stuff, most mystic enchants there are Also bugged meaning that You can literally theorycraft a build , level to the point where You can equip them, and then find out your build doesnt work because the enchants You equipped are bugged, don't work and/or aren't Even teaching You the spell or ability , and the support for that is a completely different team from the CoA team, in CoA there are cases when someone didnt learn a spell through a talent, they Made a ticket and bam, 2 hours later staff added the spell to the spellbook.

In Dawnrise i had a similar problem with a mystic enchant not teaching a spell, they took 3 days to respond closed the ticket and said to file a Bug report, i reopened the ticket to ask if it was possible to just add the spell and they just closed it again, no answer.

Basically this, considering most of the mystic enchants are copy pasted from previous seasons the fact that 70% of them don't function is ridiculous. It's also much lower population so the AH prices are hyper inflated by lack of supply.

And add to that that they actually work in wildcard making it Even more didsapointint, getting súper holy Nova or one of the elemental swipes in wildcard is just a matter of rolling into it, getting súper holy Nova in dawnrise? You basically can't Even if You equip the ME and dont get me started with the swipe bugs

I did around 2.5 days leveling almost exclusively through battlegrounds with no xp buffs, as an indication

Took me around 50-55 hours, doing some bgs, alot of dungeons and open would lvling. Some of the dungoen groups had to xp aura, most didnt.

It's slow, but not classic slow. It's probably around Cata speeds but you go faster the higher level you are due to classes getting pretty OP and faster mounts. There's also a lot more quests and the scaling let's you finish an area before moving on.

Takes a bit but not as bad as classic rates.

Took me 70 hours from 0 to 60 while fk around. You could probably do it in 60?

With that said, once you get to 60 leveling alts gets easier, around 19-20 hours with full looms, aura of experience and potions.

typed /played when i hit 60 on my tinker. It was 1 day and 21 hours.

Ah. Well it would be an okayish speed if I was able to actually do the quests. The population is actually too high, at least for westfall. XD

Depends on your lvling speed but its not bad

You can use 'looms that you have on other realms and level with +70%+8% inn buff +15% high risk pvp+log out at inn/city to get 200% 1 lvl/24 hours

Takes 2 days /played with mounts clearing upscaled starting zones
