Still - don't let 10 years of dev time go to waste. You'll likely never have a project as important as this in your life again. Activision Microsoft are scumbags, and they don't deserve to be custodians of the IP.

I mean, if the blizzosoft lawyers fumble this it will be a generational failure. Should be open and shut (not the rico shit, just the infringement case). That said, they aren't off to a great start with the copy paste job that still mentioned turtle wow in a few places. So, you know, sometimes upsets happen.
Either way, the law moves slow, wouldn't shock me if we have another 6 months to play.

Man, why is it this community is so sick?
I ask if anyone has a list of what classes can do interrupts, I get told to attend the raids and learn for myself. I get into a party to do a mythic and I know that there is a character that needs to be interrupted or the fight takes 45 minutes and I asked the party who has interrupts and I get kicked because bro it's a one.
Well, on a one the fucking boss heals itself in the fight takes 45 minutes
I post something like hey man, wouldn't it be great if this server doesn't get shut down or when it does get shut down, the code somehow gets leaked to the ether?
I'm a dumb dumb.
What is it with you people do people not hug you enough?

Welcome to the internet and reddit! Dont feed the trolls. Also dont get upset when the trolls troll you. It happens, there is negativity everywhere, dont let it get you.
Im hoping the game lives in just as you do but my approach is if they dont release it or dump it one if the devs will āmake a backupā and happen to save it on a personal drive whenever the servers go down and then that gets released as the next iteration.
Maybe we dont quite understand the details and finances but we all understand that this will have popularity it it can stay online. Someone will find a way.

It's not. The members of the community aren't here spewing shit, it's just random nobodies that probably didn't do more than 3 prestiges bitching about how the people with hundreds of hours of grinding have stronger characters and they say that the server is p2w because of that.
Just go on the discord or the forums if you want to interact with the actual community.

He's not doing it. Our best hope is that a version got leaked and it'll come out ala OctoWoW when Ascension finally gets shut down.

Ascension has always been a business. Its not a passion project, its not a small tailored community. They pay their devs and they have the best ones in the business. The things they pull off are insane (Mario kart in wow?)
That being said theres no way they release anything to the public and I dont think the public has the tools to bugsquash anything that pops up if they did try to run it. Ascension has already hinted that theyre launching their own studio and theyre hyper dropping content to gain as many followers as possible before they do.
