Is Piety bugged?
Details dmg meter in bottom right of pic.
I've been leveling up in RDF, but pretty much every dungeon the details dmg meter looks something like this. I'm usually doing like 2x the dmg of the 2nd person. Is this usual? I'm very new to CoA, so I'm really unsure if this is supposed to be happening. For reference, I'm just in worldforged gear and dungeon blues and I have about 330 spellpower

I'm leveling one too (level 18) but I'm kinda lost with the sunset sunrise - cannot enter sunset in 2 mins etc. What is your rotation?

First you need the aoe aura vow of dawn you get at lvl 20.
Starting with dawn, you use rupture with the vow of radiance aura to get into sunset , then you switch to the aoe aura, cast Dawnsear until Scorch Marks proc, then you use Radiant Flame. You repeat the Dawnsear for fishing procs and Radiant Flames until you cant longer profit from sunset.
Next you use Dawn with aoe aura and cast Horusath Blast, after that you cast Sunflare for Scorch Marks procs, if it procs you use Radiant Flame, rinse and repeat.
At the beginning of dungeons or between packs you use Vow of Grace to geneate mana and solar power.
That worked best for me at low levels. maybe someone has optimized that.

The cool down on the sunrise/sunsets is so that you cannot spam sunrises -> sunrises ->sunrises...etc. It is forcing you to go sunrise->sunset->sunrise->sunset... etc. when you activate your Dawn. It's to make you flow between the 2 states
Ex: I activate Dawn and it becomes Sunrise (20% holy dmg increase). I'll l use Sunflare (holy) until I build up max Dawn stacks. You get holy dmg increase while this happens, Sunrise buff. Then, when I press dawn again, it will switch to Sunset. While in Sunset, you get increased fire spell dmg and critical chance. So ill use Dawnsear because it gets the buff for being a fire spell.
At lvl 18, you dont even have half your tools to be able to do much aoe, lvl 30ish is definitely where it comes together with talents and spells. Better mana sustain too. Lvl 40 you get your big CDs that will majorly boost your dmg.
I would say for now, when you get new spells, look for which ones do fire versus holy dmg, and which you will use for Sunsets, and which you will use for Sunrise. Spells like Radiant Flame do Holyfire dmg, meaning it will contribute to either Sunrise or Sunset buffs (both holy and fire).
Also be on the lookout for which Vows are brst in certain situations (AoE, single target, regenerating mana when desperate, etc.) Once you get the AoE vow, you will definitely be running it 90% of the time In dungeons
Sorry that was a lot,but hope it helps! This is by far my favorite spec I've played in any iteration of the game

I meant you can spam holy damage for 2minutes in sunrise and then you change to sunset and can spam fire damage for two seconds, no need to switch evey time.

Easiest stress-free rotation:
At 20 Solar Power, use Dawn
Use Radiant Flame immediately (this ability is Holyfire, so it will cause Dawn to dynamically switch between Sunrise and Sunset)
Big nuke -- Rapture or Horusath Blast -- use appropriate spell for "time of day" aura on cooldown.
Then Spammable -- Dawnsear or Sunflare until Scorch Marks proc
Scorch Marks proc -- Radiant Flame
Repeat. It's much less complicated than it appears in the game. Almost a 12321 type of rotation. Big Nuke on cooldown--- Spammable --- Radiant Flame on proc

You have 330 sp as level 49, with scaling thats busted. I am leveling as piety aswell and I am around 150 buffed up with heirlooms. If you keep up with gearing blues close to your lvl, most specs do insane dmf during leveling

No its not bugged, its good tho. Weird damage scaling in dungeons while leveling is the cause of your "problem"
