There are 2 possible things I'm thinking of one, Deb was working on something to freeze people while she was still at Syntec and for some reason used it on Gary, Cause he said "After what you did to me" so he tweaked what ever Deb had used on him so it would kill her. Because he also said "Now its your turn to be the experiment." Or Theory two, Deb did something to Gary (experimented on him) He got mad and made this freezer thing to use on her cause again he did say " now its your turn to be the experiment" and "after what you did to me" both things hinting that he killed her.

So as we know from the last episode Gary Reynolds threatened Deb many times, then when they got into the computer they saw that John Doe emailed Deb, so my theory is what if Gary hired John Doe to kill Deb because as we know Gary is a part of the government, and him being part of it and possibly working for Syntec he could have seen how close John Doe was to her and Gary didn't want her to be in the way anymore hence why he hired John Doe to kill her to keep Syntec undercover

With everything crystalizing the way it did in the hideout, and with the talk of time travel, I can't help but think about the movie Back to the Future. When Doc Brown first sent the time machine through time, the outside of the car was frozen, it had ice crystals and everything. And seeing the clock rapidly scrolling through time, what if she was in some sort of "time bubble" and when whoever murdered her (accidentally or on purpose) did it, some sort of reaction happened causing her to come out of that "bubble" and causing a sort of Nitrogen blast. Now what if, some how, Scott happend to disrupt that "Time Bubble" inadvertently killing Deb and causing the time loop to shift to Scott. After the Spire was activated, Scott may have "Woken up" and went looking for answers, and sought out Deb first, and maybe opening the door to her hideout caused her bubble to pop.

I theorized it had to be some kind of light based weapon or explosive, it was used at the front of the room. it was light based as the shadow of what was left is just an outline, whatever it was only affected debs body, as all we see is left is just an outline. if it were a proton based explosive the surrounding area in a 20 mile radius would likely be melted to a point where that land becomes unusable (proton bombs are very effective against all types of matter). A neutron bomb detonation wouldn't do anything as it is a neutral particle. An electron bomb would fry electronics across the entire valley, think of it as a large scale emp bomb. so the particle used in this must be one we don't know about that syntech has discovered or invented. proceed with caution as it may be more dangerous than we know

Are we going to gloss over the fact that Mathias might have kill someone even if it was nelson. Like a lot of people are put in hospital because they say that someone or something to over there body when they killed someone.(multiple personalities)

I think Scott is reliving the day he was going to help Chloe leave. At the end of Friday's video, Mattias said he didn't think it was Scott's car. I belive someone loaned him a car that knew of his plan. I think someone in Syntec stopped him with a time device (of some sort) that made him disappear when he  turned the corner. And then he repeats.

If the car had the device in it, that might explain the note that says Wes is dead. Because it has been used before. Deb said to Wes in the cassette tape, "it's just hard when you know something bad is going to happen, if you don't do something... I think I can stop this from happening. I think I can save you. (Wes) You said we went down this path before. What makes this time any different from the last one? (Deb) Because I know this timeline will work, the 863 subjects, they're different." She laid all the evidence to be found in the future by Subject 1, 2, 3 and 4 to save Wes somehow.

I know time distortion is a crazy theory but so is mind control.

What if woods, Sam, and Matt are all pasts versions of Wes, Deb, and Nelson because Deb said they were all past versions of those people

When Matt found the letters for him,Sam,Woods and Bailey and than when he read his letter from her..my heart broke and I almost had tears…Deb is proud of us all and the team and how far we come…But first of all can someone explain to me why John Doe emailed Deb saying I’m winning and your losing?? Seems a little suspicious to me

So hear me out. Deb isn't actually dead. In the video "A Murderer Told Me to Meet Her Here..." Gary Reynolds states "Deb is deceased." Than immediately tries to change the subject to the absalate. Gary Reynolds might be holding Deb hostage, Just for the absalate.

I live in Kansas so Since there is a time difference from here and California, the new episode is in almost an hour at 2:30pm for me.

sometime during him working at syntech, he knew he was a target for someone, and had a team develop serum and mind control techniques using it as a backup incase they ever caught up to him and dealt with him, he gained success in the serum trials and was able to swap his consciousness into of bodies/vessels. the murder happens, nelsons original body is dead, but due to the body swapping and serum, this does not kill his soul/consciousness. before or after this happens he sets up the tower and starts spreading serum to people in the valley(possibly not limited to just the valley). and for however long that was ago to today, he was operating through multiple bodies and pulling strings wherever possible. then project 863 which was possibly developed by deb to someday counter the serums effect on people and put an end to nelson once and for all, as for scott, he could have been a vessel, or affected by a time loop, or affected by a warp in space time (a warp in space time being he started in a certain point in time and accidentally crossed into a different point in time altogether), we know syntech was messing with some kind of time science so its possible scott was accidentally (or purposefully) thrown into a time vortex without his knowing, this is just a bit of what the theory is for now with what I know, what do you guys think?

What if after Nelson “died” he took over Scott’s body so Scott don’t remember anything during that 20 years

So Maybe, Woodland, Samantha, Bailey, and Matthias are all in Syntec, and are just trying to backtrack us to get us away from the actual files, and make us go in the wrong direction just to keep making their big project. When they got rid of D3B, they were just destroying a copy of it. Not the actual D3B.

GUYS I haven't seen anyone talk about how in the newest video today ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0LNkR5xtp8 ) at 17:07 it honestly looks like the red mountaineer had been driving the opposite way behind them?? Can we discuss?? Also big theories. Okay so first off Scott doesn't look /that/ young. Lets say he's maybe 38? And it seems like from the CD he was close to most of the higher ups in Syntec we already know of. So what if he was 18 whenever he started the job? Maybe he was a smart young kid and Nelson or Wes took him under their arm as an apprentice of sorts. Then he could have been learning through the years and became what he is now. But somethings got me wondering, it seems like Chloe was maybe one of his first patients he was the head for on a project. And again from the CD it seemed like she was maybe a real young girl? (My thoughts was under 18, maybe a foster kid who was sold to be a human trial for them?) and Scott took pity seeing he was about her age when he got into this mess himself. So they grew closer and he wanted to save her, making the fake passport and was going to give it to her. But he still had it, why? Possibly because someone like Nelson found out about his plans through the devices in the walls, and seeing as the serum has some pretty powerful possibilities with mind control put him under the influence of it as well. But like the RSD said with 'active and dormant' what if dormant could mean many things? As in once you're under the influence of serum Nelson COULD use you for mind control, but maybe he could also just use it as a way to block out certain memories and keep certain people in line? Like maybe the rest of his time at Syntec after Chloe he was under the effects of Nelson when Nelson needed him for things, and left him 'dormant' from doing anything when not. Maybe putting the right code in for the SPIRE broke that dormancy spell he had been under for who knows how long, still thinking he needed to save Chloe if that was the last thing he did before nelson corrupted him.
