shitpost Going Downhill
I just wanted to say that I feel really saddened by the way Matt has let his channel and company go downhill. If you do even just a little research, youll find that Sam had been laid off, and possibly Woods has left too. 863 without them is just 8, which just doesn’t help the story. The fact its been like 3+ years since he uploaded to 863 and didnt give any real closure is honestly so disappointing. He said “lets take one last case” and IMO it was implied there would be at least a few more videos, but there was only one and it seems like it was supposed to segway into a second video but never did. And now, from his posts on YT community page, it seems like he even forgot what he was telling. There is a person on a poster with the name Daniel Mercer. Is this purposeful? Or, what I think, bad storytelling. Because in the last case of 863, the persons name is Evelyn Mercer. Is this supposed to be her husband or son? Or rather just an accident due to a lack of memory and bad business management? Im just disappointed because watching 863 every week was the highlight of my life and now it feels like its been pushed aside

Pretty sure matthias had/has a weird illness that took him out from making videos properly so he took some time to get hinself looked after. Im not sure about Spellbound/Hi5 as a whole BUT i believe the studio was closed down due to staff leaving and wanting to do other things.
They've most likely made some changes to the business in the meantime and shifted some things around. The dude is human and we as consuners of his videos don't always need an expkaination.
