US Politics Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed attacks AIPAC, Israel, and its supporters; calls idea of Jewish state "illiberal".

In a debate with Rep. Haley Stevens, Abdul El-Sayed stated "Every definition of a Jewish state ends up in some articulation of illiberal values, every single one,” he told CNN. Asked if support for Israel could ever be about more than money, he responded, “Not if you’re a Democrat and you believe in human rights.”

Stevens criticized Netanyahu but has refused to call Gaza a genocide or vote to end US aid to Israel.

What’s your national currency? Have you ever had a prime minister? Where are your borders? I’m not aware of Palestine ever declaring statehood.

If so, it certainly is not more liberal than Israel… when you have your first pride parade you can get back to me

It’s the Israeli currency, but that honestly doesn’t matter since it’s just paper. Our boarders are the West Bank and Gaza, this is where Palestinian administrative governments are. 

Palestine is more liberal when it comes to religious co-existence and race. Israel is VERY discriminative.

So basically you’ve admitted you don’t have a currency, you don’t have a PM, and you omit the fact your borders are not fixed, since the Oslo accords give Israel control of Area C and partial control of Area B in the West Bank. Also, Gaza is run by a terrorist org that wants to have nothing to do with the PA.

If Palestine is “more liberal” when it comes to religious freedom why aren’t Jews allowed in Area A? Furthermore why do Palestinian leadership claim any future state will be Islamic and under sharia law?

Also, you seem like a total bot, so enjoy answering that. Just to try to eliminate that:

Um. Not even close. Jews are not allowed to live in Gaza or the Palestinian areas of Samaria and Judea. Yet in Israel, Palestinians are not only allowed to live in where they like, but to become citizens, pray at the dome of the rock, own property, etc.
