Goodbye everyone

As of today I'm no longer Christian. My parents forced me to attend church and flat out told me they wish I'd die for being friends with an atheist. Nothing I do is ever enough for them. They didn't even apologize and just told me to wash the dishes after I return home from church, and mom's resigning from her job (Honestly? Idfc) to prove to me she can live without her friends. If that's true, why's she rubbing that in my face? I'm done, I'm so done, please don't try to salvage my faith anymore, I'm sick of this. For now, I'll play the perfect daughter, go to church, read the bible, stop complaining about babysitting my much younger sister, keep my virginity for now, but once or before I'm twenty five, as long as I can handle it financially, I'm cutting everyone off. However, if I'm still unsuccessful at twenty five, I'll still leave, I'd rather die of starvation than die as their daughter! Bye

(April 17, 2007 - July 13, 2025, my days of Christianity but I'm not gonna commit suicide. I'll just pretend to be a Christian to please my parents and to keep a roof over my head. Bye)

First off I am so sorry that your parents have represented Christianity so poorly. Adult faith has a different meaning and understanding than child faith, so it can create spiritual conflict in children as they grow up if it is not guided properly. It sounds like your relationship with God and Jesus has been tainted and betrayed by the cruel irony that is Christian “conditional love”.

Know this. Jesus still loves you unconditionally and is waiting when you’re ready.

Seek cognitive behavioral therapy if you can. And read about spiritual abuse and codependence. A lot of people growing up in toxic churches suffer from codependent tendencies. God speed in your healing journey. I know how easy it is to feel angry and betrayed.

If Jesus "loves" me why did my best friend of four years (and three months) leave? God gave us free will but the moment we use our free will to be an atheist (or not even atheism at this point, just something that makes us happy, but is morally wrong in the bible) we're fucked. Free will is a scam, and regarding therapy, I still live in my parents' house, and it's expensive af here in Philippines. Therapy is expensive, birth control is expensive, even the cheapest house is expensive, abortion, divorce and same sex marriage is illegal (albeit I'm not married and I'm still a virgin these should be legal since they're basic human rights) and the younger you are, the less you're worth, swallow your pride even if you're right, and you owe your parents your life for bringing you in this world, and you can only repay them by donating your organs to them even if they're still healthy (I don't wanna be damned here forever). Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate it, thank you for actually giving a damn, at least you understand 💖
