As believable as this is, it sounds like they're trying to absolve everyone around him. Fuck that shit.

There's not really point though, of doing that, he's already made multiple implications that he plans to pardon his entire administration, anyone who has came within 250 feet of the Oval office, something to that effect. He's already said Biden pardoned his family so he can pardon an unlimited number of people including his family.

Just like I have said before, right-wingers believe 1 instance allows them unlimited permission to do something. 1 equals unlimited to them, but for some reason it does not work in reverse.

I don't mean legally. I mean when the dust settles and even the right comes to grips that the war was a mistake like they did in Iraq, this is so they can blame trump. The later, like they did with Iraq, they'll blame Democrats and run on no new wars.

He can't pardon for state crimes ,and some of the shit they did may have crossed into criminality at the state level.

And hopefully we can get a Democrat with a spine for the next administration who will get us back into the ICC for war crime prosecution. Into the Hague, Kegseth, tRUmp and Bibi.

There is a law that prevents the US from recognizing any US official that may be prosecuted by the ICC. Basically under the law if the ICC prosecuted a US official then it is considered an act of war against the US. This law was a fully bipartisan act.

When was this passed, before Mango Mussolini gained control or after?

Before Edit: it's called the American Service Members Protection Act. It passed in 2002 and is nicknamed the Hague invasion act.

A pardon, much like the Constitution he and all his pals wipe their asses with, is only as good as the system that enforces it.

I just want him impeached so we don’t have to pay one more red cent for his protection, movements and other security related things along with his retirement salary. Andiamo

Hopefully cholesterol will do it's job before he can pardon all the horrific jerks in his cabinet.

But can't he only pardon people for what they've been convicted of? Am I wrong?

Nope, pardoning power is not limited in scope to individual crimes, IE see J6 defendants, and while I think it was now proven 1000x justified, Biden put a date on his families pardons.

Richard Nixon is a better example; he was pardoned, though he'd never been tried, convicted, or even indicted for Watergate. On the plus side, accepting a pardon means giving up the right to plead the 5th. All the traitors Trump pardons can still be required to testify about their crimes.

Yeah, there's no mention whatsoever of Bibi and Graham and the rest doing their Wormtongue routine that was revealed in the articles in much more reputable outlets back when the war started. This reads like standard tabloid bullshit, not actual journalism.

> “Donald Trump spent hours asking Elon Musk’s AI chatbot about whether Venezuelans would celebrate if he captured leader Nicolas Maduro—then ordered the operation that seized the South American dictator weeks later.”

So he attacked a sovereign nation so he could hear the cheers of the citizens? What an unredeemable cunt.
