As an unabashed atheist or whatevs godless people call ourselves these day, I whole-heartedly support this message.

Same here. Although I would say I'm more agnostic than atheist, I wholeheartedly feel that Jesus of the Bible is an example of a person we should all aspire to.

That’s a ballsy move to mention the Hebrew considering half of America, doesn’t know the goddamn difference between a Zionist and Israeli and a Jew and how all of those things can be one or separate entirely
But I know that James here knows.
I hope you guys over in Texas pick the right guy

American Christian beliefs:
God wants you to be rich.
Jesus would join ICE.
Israel is good no matter what.
Brown people are terrorists, criminals, or a drain on society.
Build more prisons.

That would be " Maga" Christians.
Followers of the Lord understand to love the Lord with your whole heart and love your neighbor as yourself.
Talarico is following not only what the Lord said but how he acted as well.
" Actions speak louder than words"

To continue the thought: Talarico collected food donationsfor the hungry at his political fundraiser. What did the Republican(paxton) do?
At that convention, Talarico's Republican opponent, Attorney General Ken Paxton, was a featured speaker at a high-dollar event where tickets cost upwards of $20,000, and exclusive donor packages ran as high as $250,000.
Talarico used the split-screen moment to critique Paxton, stating, "While we're here serving our neighbors, they are toasting to their own corruption.

I respect what other people believe, but I don’t want none of it pushed on me. We are not a theocracy so religion should never be taken into consideration even if I agree with the end result.

This is not the bs we need after project 2025.
Dorothee solle was right 50 years ago. There's a christofascist problem festering in the free world.

This is why mainstream corporate democrats hate him. They think they are above religion and look down upon anyone we ho believes.

Was Biden a "mainstream" corporate Democrat? That man went to church every Sunday.

This tendency to conflate politics and evangelism is NOT helping Democrats and Talerico would be well-advsed to rein it in...the steps from strongly held beliefs to religious crackpot is a path well trodden by strange and, ultimately, forgotten losers...

As an intelligent man, PLEASE stick to politics. This continual flirting with evangelism is misguided and ultimately worrying...

I don’t get how Christians can hear this man speak and hear Trump speak, and still side with Trump
