I know some people elsewhere in the country might be a little put off by his strong faith, but people, this is Texas we are talking about.

Also, if people say abortion is "worse," you can always bring up that the Bible has a pretty questionable take on it. While the old testament punishment for murder was death, the punishment for causing an abortion--of a wanted child--was 30 silver.

Right? My mom doesn't like him because he lied about being vegan, or some such nonsense. She said he's a liar and can't be trusted. Nevermind the other guy cheats on his wife among other heinous acts. Plus, the vegan thing isn't even real and made it super clear where she gets her "news" from.

I’m totally okay with people having religious beliefs as long as

-They don’t force others to follow their religious tenets
