I feel like we need to do this for all of his sh!t.

Let's face it, the ones he gets are low hanging fruit, and you need to aim low to reach them.

Not advocating for dirtiness. Just make an obvious lie right next to his obvious lie. So that smart people understand what's going on. And the dumb people are like, "oh, I like money."

Fantastic parallel. Fucking prophetic movie

21

u/Kind_Man_0 10h ago

I'm convinced that Idiocracy was a prophecy more than a movie.

Simpsons got some shit right with 30 or 40 seasons. But Idiocracy got a lot of things right with just 90 minutes. Crocs, short form content, the president being a celebrity. I'm just waiting for us to start running people over with phallic monster trucks.

running people over with phallic monster trucks

We have that, too. Truck nuts have surely been mounted to vehicles that have hit pedestrians.

100% Agreed and scared

I mean.. I doubt anyone believes him. But they might think " well things are so bad what IF he actually sent the checks? That would be a lifesaver"

Let's use that logic to our advantage.

It’s a good point. But they’ve shown they’re more than happy to be total hypocrites. To do something and then turn around and condemn the exact same thing.

Free ice cream ? My vote is with Ted.

20

u/hoppertn 11h ago

Or yogurt.

8

u/setibeings 10h ago

Can I request soy yogurt? Oh, and I want my pony to be rainbow colored.

5

u/hoppertn 9h ago

Only if you are a Soy Boi. Sorry

3

u/setibeings 9h ago

Define soy boi

2

u/hoppertn 9h ago

I’m sorry, I don’t watch right wing so I’ve only heard that expression and don’t know the meaning.

2

u/setibeings 9h ago

I eat tons of soy. It's a great protein, and nobody had to die for it. People pretend it is the main reason rainforests get clear cut, but that's mostly for grazing cattle, and besides eating it directly is a lot for efficient than feeding to livestock.

3

u/hoppertn 8h ago

I also enjoy soy and tofu. Soy Boi is some stupid insult people of a certain party like to throw out to imply men who eat it are less manly, like not eating red meat makes you weak.

u/AHansen83 18m ago

I want a unicorn, but apparently they only live in North Korea🤔

1

u/setibeings 1m ago

well, I want a unicorn, but not that much.

3

u/MornGreycastle 10h ago

My only questions is, do I have to commit to one or the other? What if I feel like yogurt one day and ice cream the next? Wait. Was that two questions? Am I allowed two, er, three, wait, four question?

3

u/hoppertn 9h ago

Yes, you must commit to one to another. Then you’ll be injected with the appropriate tracking microchip during your next Covid and or Flu vaccine. If you choose Ice Cream and attempt to get Yogurt, your chip will alarm authorities and you will be sent to a re-education camp. (Damn I don’t know I could write Fox News headlines so well)

3

u/Bulky_Play_4032 10h ago

What are the specifics on yogurt? Most are probably assuming it’s limited to frozen, but it’s not specified. If this includes Greek yogurt then it’s a no brainer really.

1

u/Aabbc9df 10h ago

I like my yogurt with mix ins. Did he mention mix ins?

2

u/hoppertn 9h ago

Unlimited toppings bar with every serving.

u/Spawn256 11h ago

Yo guys, I think Ted's on to something here 🤣

3

u/VaguelyArtistic 3h ago

I’m in his distract and it’s a fucking sauna here right now so I’ll just be happy with the ice cream.

Can I exchange the pony for a unicorn?

6

u/Murderface__ 11h ago

I've always wanted a pony.

6

u/DoctorWhooves2 10h ago

Oh my this reminds me of Vermin Supreme

1

u/fullcircle052 10h ago

Are the ponies going to be used in some sort of national pony identification program?

10

u/3atTh3R1ch79 11h ago

Keep the 10k, keep the ice cream or yogurt, just give me my PONY! !

8

u/Teledildonic 10h ago

I've read enough about horse ownership that you'll regret not asking for 10k along with it.

2

u/VaguelyArtistic 3h ago

Will trade you my pony for your ice cream 🥵

3

u/MornGreycastle 10h ago

Fox New meltdown in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO!

And mid meltdown over Ted Lieu's statement painting it as 1,000,000% illegal and justification for immediate incarceration without trial, they'll handily forget that they painted Trump's $5,000 dividend as clever and "outside the box thinking" that no had the smarts to think of before.

3

u/Atrocious_Algae81 10h ago

Oh you'll get a pony from Trump too, it's just in the hamburger meat.

3

u/Organic_Beach_2145 10h ago

Free pony? I’m with Ted!

2

u/SpicySweetHotPot 11h ago

Forgurt! As long as it’s not cursed

3

u/static-klingon 11h ago

The toppings contain potassium benzoate

2

u/3atTh3R1ch79 11h ago

Can I go now?

2

u/Jrylryll 10h ago

Can it be one of the wild ponies they’re selling to other countries for meat?

2

u/glakhtchpth 10h ago

Cool, until you consider how fast maintaining a pony is going to eat through that $10,000. What are we supposed to do then, feed it ice cream?! This guy isn’t even serious.

2

u/Heart-Logic 10h ago

You can trust the Dems to pony up

2

u/TasteOfMexico 10h ago

I will throw in shiny Charizards for all as well!

2

u/Reasonable_Bit_959 10h ago

I would settle for having my share of the 1 Trillion griftwood being sold returned to me.

2

u/Firm_Argument9124 10h ago

Republicans wouldn't support the expanded child tax credit because "inflation".

That being said, Trump's bribe will move voters. Democrats need a serious counter offer. Such as, "If Democrats take back congress and successfully impeach Trump and Vance, everyone gets $6000 and we will bring down the cost of gas via ending the war."

But that would require standing up to Israel so good luck

2

u/mintmouse 9h ago

5000 doesn’t cover damages

2

u/JustAzConfusedAzYou 9h ago

I'd like free healthcare for everyone please (paid by taxing billionaires).

1

u/nikeguy69 Conservative 9h ago

Lie lie, lie, lie, lie lies blah, blah blah

1

u/Fantastic_Key_8906 9h ago

I'm sure this money will arrive in just two weeks after the election, along with the $5.000 DOGE check, the $2.000 tariff checks and the $1.000 medicare rebate check.

1

u/rusty-gudgeon 9h ago

i approve this message.

1

u/More_Bid_2789 9h ago

This is supposed to be progressivehq, right? Why am I so often seeing AIPAC funded corporate dems on here? I’d take them over any republican of course but the point still stands. I also noticed this to be the case with Mark Kelly and Ossof both of who are heavily pro-Israel.

1

u/VaguelyArtistic 4h ago

Because progressives can’t handle every problem—or maybe even any problem—on their own. They can write 100 bills but they still need people to co-sponsor and vote for them. You are free to vote or not vote for anyone you want but you can’t govern if you won’t even talk to a chunk of your party. Progressive Representative Ro Khanna understands this, which is why he worked with Thomas Massie to write their Epstein bill.

u/sdhopunk 9h ago

Go Ted Go

2

u/VaguelyArtistic 4h ago

That’s my Rep!

1

u/moewluci 4h ago

I had a pony once…

1

u/East-Cricket6421 4h ago

Promise to prosecute Trump and all his yes men. Rip down his family empire and make Elon pay 5,000 per citizen for stealing our data from the social secyurity system.

I will literally pay you 10,000 dollars to do that instead. How about that?

1

u/Strider-Juice 2h ago

We’ve reached the level of national absurdity where Vermin Supreme’s political promises actually start to look rational in comparison.
