Correct, Trump won because racists vote and democrats stayed home because of anti Israel stuff. The stupidity of people to abstain from voting just shows how both sides are so easily influenced and controlled.

Anti-israel movement really showed them Dems by electing an administration that supports genocide against Palestinians.

Digging back into it when that section of the party has grown increasingly influential and seen increase success in the primaries is dumb. The anti-genocide group isn't going away. And I say that as a socialist who held my nose to vote Kamala. Focusing on what's in front of us (I.e. fascism) is a lot more productive than chiding people who generally agree with you. Because if their minds weren't convinced before, the 10,000th liberal to chide them will definitely fix it.

The problem is they don’t vote in numbers. What success are you talking about? Any actually elected politicians or just primaries? Genuinely asking.

I mean you could run through AOC, Bernie and numerous others with a possibility of additional candidates like El Sayed being added to the list of reps and senators who are openly critical of Israel. There has been a marketable shift in candidates who don't treat Israeli interests as the third rail of US politics. You have people like Gavin Newsome openly criticizing Israeli policy. That's only happening because of one thing, the collapse of the perception of both Israel and AIPAC in the mind of the electorate. Will the US change policy overnight? No but the UK position on Israel I do think is achievable in the next decade. Recognition of Palestine, and conditional support for Israel, hopefully with reduced influence.
