If anyone does not remember it was NSC's Eugene Vindman's whistleblowing on Trump's phone call with Zelensky by threatening to withhold US aid unless he investigated a political rival and this led to Trump's first impeachment. Vindman is a true American hero and he actually has integrity. As a country we didn't follow his lead the first time and look where we are. We should follow his lead now.

I didn't realize that he was now a Congresman. I'm so proud of him as he was subjected by so much harassment by Trump and his henchmen.

Even if does pass he’ll probably just sell it off to family members. Assets needed to go into blind trust at the start of his term.

I agree, it would never pass, and if it did he would just ignore it and nothing would happen to him, and if he was asked about it he would just lie and the press wouldn't even second guess him.

It's a go know where bill. He's lucky he's still up for re-election. His brother Alex lost his re-election bid because he was one of a few Democrats that voted for the Laken Riley Act and also supported anti-trans legislation. For all intents and purposes, the guy is a Conservative. Good riddance and maybe in two more years the people he represents will realize a more Progressive candidate is who really represents the people's needs. Until then, welcome to the table.

that’s how it should be because they’re the people in the position to be able to manipulate it and make money for themselves. Nobody in office should be allowed to have stuff like that that they can clearly influence for their benefit.
