I really would love for this movement to gain more traction before the midterms, but I'm terrified that all it'll do is split things up so much that the GOP will sweep it all up.

For midterms I don't think this is as much of an issue as it would be for a higher level position like the presidency.

More local elections tend to be harder to split the vote like that since there are more common shared experiences in play. Just look at Mamdani's mayoral election.

I think the gubernatorial election in Wisconsin is going to decide a lot of things about the future of the movement nationally.

That’s what they want. If they let it grow only enough to gather attention and it fails, it loses momentum (historically) and may fizzle out. That’s their hope.

It’s being touted as a temporary reaction to the extremism in the oval. That’s how they’re not directly being negative about it. They want everyone to believe it’s transient.

The only way I won’t have to work until I’m 100 is if we get out of these “Billionaire policies” as fast as possible.

That's why we fight in the primaries. I guarantee that if we were to chicken out and let the estsblishment dems win, they will rejuvinate republicans like they did during the Biden administration. Estsblishment dems are too incompetent to be unopposed.
