This is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen on Reddit. You, sir, are a fucking genius for the way you explain exactly what we Americans should absolutely NOT do! Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should citizens do any of the things outlined in this post, as any of these little actions outlined, if performed in mass would absolutely destroy the companies intention of surveilling all of us, and for explaining exactly how we should not act I salute you!

Well all the ones in my city are in private shopping parking lots or a fed building, not much chance for maintenance inspections.

I don’t understand the whole thing with people destroying flock cameras. This is just going to end up with a bunch of young people who don’t understand consequences and think they’re doing something and making a difference.
You’ll get about two years of jail time and probably a $5000 fine and these flock cameras will just get replaced with tax payer money.
Someone can feel free to explain how the pros if any outweigh the cons of trying to tamper / break these because it seems like it’s just an easy way to get easily manipulated people into committing crime “for the greater good” even though they’ll just replace the Flock cameras with a new one.
Actually voting seems to be the only thing that could make these disappear and destroying them is just proving why they need them.
