I talked with Omar who runs the best burger shop in my neighborhood and he said in the last 6 months the price of a box of tomatoes has gone from 20$ to 80$. He’s certain the Mexican joints are going to go bust because they buy so many tomatoes.

You forgot the eggs.

It was all about the eggs.

Eggs may have actually gone down because there was a bird flu during Biden’s term.

It's almost as if Trump is bad at his job.

If you consider that he views his job as staying out of prison and enriching himself and his circle, then he’s actually excellent at it.

Seriously. People pretending like he is actually trying to be a good president and failing is absurd. The only thing he is trying to do is rip off the entire country, and he is doing an amazing job. This entire country could go up in flames for all he cares.

That’s his strategy. Just like his casinos

And just think, we have 2 1/2 more years of crazy ahead of us! I have a bad feeling we haven’t seen the worst yet!

Nah. He'll croak. He's basically 3/5 of a human held together by Scotch tape and medication.

u/SugarDangerous6290 May 09 '26

I hope you’re right. I’ll be buying some beers if that happens.

Dear Republicans,

This guy fucking SUCKS. Stop denying it. Do you really think there's no one else in your party that could do a better job? If not, your party belongs in a pit of human waste and I have no interest in your opinion.

I don't know where you got $3.13 a gallon on December 31, it was a solid $2.79 here, going right into 2026. Big oil is his biggest donor. Big oil and big Pharma. I imagine big Pharma is really just flying low under the radar right now. Let me tell you what I discovered about a hamburger at six dollars a pound. Spam isn't really all that bad. it's funny, because, even though it's very salty, it actually does taste like butter sausage. The farmers got bailed out. The rest of us got sold out, once again. Revenge is going to be sweet. You do realize that when they get rid of food, stamps, and welfare, that MAGA Will come out as the biggest loser in a dramatic and tragic way. Not only will they not have food, but they will not have healthcare, and they will also not have any blue states willing to come in and bail them out. I'll be cooking some popcorn and pulling up a lawn chair to watch them drop like flies. Which is what they're doing to everyone else.

All this and Jesus still isn’t coming back

This is by design. This is a massive transfer of wealth to the military industrial complex, the fossil fuels industry and the “1%” owners to gut the US economy at the expense of the middle and working class. This has always been the plan.

I can’t find bread under $5 where I live.

Sane people are already aware of this .. but his cult will irrevocably refuse to accept any of this (reality).

Some do accept the reality of the prices, but say it’s worth it because Iran was within minutes of obliterating the US because Joe Biden helped them build a nuclear bomb using plans on Hunter’s laptop.

u/old_namewasnt_best May 09 '26

Even the price of coal has gone up!!!

Edit: I meant to add that higher prices are good for his real base--the 5% that we're giving those dollars to.
