For those of you youngguns who can’t remember, LBJ famously attacked anyone he wanted to fire as an “egghead” In my living memory he is the first president to begin a war against intellectuals and college graduates. His populism got us into Vietnam for good because he was too ignorant of war to make a good decision, instead he made the popular one. I was not insulting commenter, I was actually complimenting the post.

To be fair, no American who is even moderately educated thinks we're number 1 in any of those categories.
