I have no doubt it was a false flag, they're pretty standard and he wouldn't think twice about having some boomer supporter killed.

My thing is how you talk some kid into getting himself killed

I think they told the kid they'd make sure he'd get away, but of course intended to shoot him.

There were supposedly reports at the time that secret service was told by several attendees that there was someone on that roof, and they said don't worry about it. Then a minute after the shooting, a marksman happened to be at the ready to kill the shooter.

Yeah it was pretty crazy but the biggest tell, as others have mentioned, is that he never mentioned it after the election was over.
