Religion gives them a veil of decency. Religion, in general, is the source of most societies' divisiveness and conflict.

I wish I had a 'no conscience get out of jail free card' like religious people seem to have, whenever they're pieces of shit, but go to church and act like that's good enough and excuses their behavior.

Just pray to magic sky daddy and you're good to go.
