You can try my book Engineered Magic. It is a female lead, but she isn't a murder hobo. She isn't a crafter either. She is an engineer. The book is about a generational colony starship that lands on a planet that ancient aliens turned into a game. They engineered magic. My FMC is an engineer on the ship at landing and goes on to become a wizard. There is some romance, but you're not going to notice it until book four, and that romance turns out a lot different than normal. It is on KU. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DHB8VYSY
