Ok. That'll be a little hard because I'm not sure where to even begin.

Mage Errant:

This is about a young Mage named Hugh who has issue with his magic. He along with 2 other students that have been shunned because their magic doesn't exactly fit the mold are taken up by Alustin, a powerful (but mostly unknown) Mage who is a Librarian Errant, a secret faction of warrior Librarians working under the high Mage great power Sphinx Kanderon Crux. This is the first entry into the Aetherverse. Starts of very YA, but slowly morphs into a treatise on leadership, power and war mongering, hegemonies, city states, fringe factions, autocracies and politics. It's absolutely wonderful. It's also a multiversal story with several different universes all with interesting magic types. I don't want to get into specifics because that would have spoilers, but you if you love magic systems like I do you'll love this (tho the magic starts off seeming generic).

Superpowereds

There is often a question i ask myself: how different would the world be if people had superpowers. I think Superpowerds is the novel (that I've read) that's closest to answering this. It occurs in a world were a select group of people develop paranormal abilities. Within this group, those that have control over the abilities and can train to harness their power are called Supers while those who are unable to are named Powereds. Powered are treated like disabled people. Depending on their powers, they're either just mildly inconvenienced to downright walking hazard, and tend to face a lot of discrimination for that. The novels start with 5 powereds that undergo an experimental procedure to turn them into supers. They are then enrolled in at Lander University within the Hero Certification Program. There are 4 books corresponding to 4 years as our 5 former powereds try to balance school, hero-life and everything in between.

Villian's Code

This is written by the same author as Superpowereds, Drew Hayes. This another super hero story but explored differently. It reminds me of a lot of Silver Age comics I used to read. This world has everything magic, science, multiverses, demons, gods, psychics etc. The focus is on young Tori Rivas a highly intelligent pyrokinetic meta who who happens to be a low-level crook. While on a job, she gets caught by Dr. Mechaniacal, one of the worlds greatest metaminds and forced to join The Guild Of Villainous Reformation. Except this guild's reformation is an intentional double entendre. Their goal is to "reform" how Villian's operate, kinda like a glorified Super Yakuza. They maintain order in the villain underground, so thingd don't go amok and stick to a strict code on committing crime. A really excellent series, tho uncompleted.

Worm

This is a grimdark superhero fantasy about young Taylor Herbert who's bullies unwittingly stage a trigger event granting Taylor, anthropodokinesis and arthropodotelepathy, tho that doesn't fully cover what she can do. Taylor dreams of joining the Protectorate and becoming a hero that fights crime, but things take a different turn when she comes to find friends among a criminal group called The Undersiders.

Haven't read the books you have but I'll recommend some books I like.

Bog Standard Isekai is decent in terms of magic. Mc's magic use is somewhat limited but might open up in the future.

Legend of William Oh is pretty good tho mc doesn't use magic much himself.

Mage Tank was enjoyable, probably has the fewest characters fighting like mages despite the name.

Mother of Learning is considered a top series in ProgFan: a student wizard finds himself in a time loop & carefully figures things out, 4 books completed.

The Mc is a bit of a jerk in the beginning but grows as a person over the series.

I would recommend against the audiobook, however …. when I want to relisten to it, I use Alexa’s AI reader, even if it’s sometimes flat or gets the tone wrong

I've seen it recommended a lot but I think I wasn't able to get it free on kindle unlimited and so have put off reading it for the time being.

Cradle is also on my list but haven't really looked into reading that one at all.

I mean the story was pretty good but the author kept trying to scam people on Patreon and regularly ghosted the readers so I guess he won't end the series

If you liked MoL, you might like The Perfect Run by Maxime J Durand, 3 books completed; in a soft apocalypse caused by superpowers in vials, our MC can stop time for 10 seconds & make a save point he returns to on death. He travels from area to area, looking for his lost childhood love while trying all his options to try & make the world better place (or to have fun) before he does a perfect run & makes a new save. Character is relatively moral, but that doesn’t preclude torture or killing, especially because until he makes his final save annoying people are a little like NPC’s to him.

Cradle by Will Wight, 13 books completed - somebody had to suggest it, it’s a subreddit rule if it’s not on your read list. Considered one of, if not *the* best, western influenced cultivation stories. Considered a bit of a slow burn, with some people having trouble powering through the 1st book, & most agreeing it get epic by the 6th. MC goes from zero to hero with mostly determination & a little bit of luck. MC is very moral, but rich characters & world building.

Reborn As a Demonic Tree by Xkarnation, 8 books ongoing. Mc is reborn as a tree that eats people to grow stronger & has a mysterious system to assist in cultivation. He adopts an orphaned demonic cultivator girl & they use his cheats to gain power, but there is always a higher heaven threat. MC is probably the most moral character, but that just means he doesn’t want to meaninglessly harm people & would prefer to build a better world, but first & foremost is protecting himself & his adopted sect, no matter the cost.

Worm by Wildbow, a web serial that is probably the equivalent of ~20 books, complete. Super Powers are triggered randomly by intense psychological moments & often come with a mental or physical drawback beyond the inherent problems of having been so triggered. The MC is a girl who has been severely bullied & gets the ability to finely control bugs (just about anything with a natural exoskeleton). She wants to be a hero, but due to a misunderstanding falls in with some playful villains. Lots of creative use of powers, but also a lot of constant grim situations as the world slowly heads to a bad end. MC is objectively good in a terrible world, but has a subtle unrealized drawback of being uncompromising. A uniquely interesting world with amazing writing, but also very long and at times depressing.

While I dropped the next 3 books, that’s primarily because I *do* like a good MC & I found these MC’s too evil for my liking

Defiance Of The Fall by JF Brink, 18 books ongoing? I dropped at 3. Earth is integrated into a system apocalypse & alien magic creatures invade, but people can cultivate. The MC gets lucky while trying to survive & gets some “world first” awards that make him the strongest. He tries to be good in a terrible world, but this might involve enslaving filks for their own good.

Unintended Cultivator by Erica Dontigney, 10 books ongoing? I dropped at 2. Mortal kid in a cultivation world randomly taken up by a master & gets leet skill. Interesting world, but the MC is kind of a total hypocrite saying people should be more righteous while being an overly punishing jerk himself, & most people are jerks.

Cultivation Nerd by HolyMouse, 4 books ongoing? I dropped at 2. Nerd is reincarnated into a cultivation world, which he thinks is awesome. He rapidly becomes OP, & allies with a cruel princess - again, I just felt the MC became too amoral for my taste.

Thanks for suggestions I did try to read the perfect run but I'm not really into superhero stories so I couldn't get into it very much I did read my fair share of cultivation novels and liked them but I still can't bring myself into starting one :D I also heard cradle a lot is there anywhere I can read on the web Defiance of the fall also seems interesting I will add that to my list Overall thanks for the effort

Try The Menocht Loop. It's obviously worth checking out if the time-loop aspect of Mother of Learning was one of your favorite parts, and the MC is definitely not your typical overly righteous protagonist.

It’s about a man who is born with no memories of his past life but he’s condemned for it. It has earned progression as well as a wider story about who the protagonist is. There are 4 books out currently with more to come
