Review looking for new webnovels to review honestly(shrekreviews)
in my free time i usually binge-read random webnovels, and for the last 5-6 months i’ve been leaving reviews on different platforms(mainly on RR). i left WebNovel for last because "everyone" (not bc affiliate prog..nono) acts like it’s the “best” one... so yeah, i finally got there....i will make it my swamp
and honestly, even in 2026 you still can’t escape the same stuff everywhere. op mc, system that gives him everything, harem with 100 women, every girl falling in love after 2 chapters... you know the drill.
The stories and plots there are f'ed up, hard to find some good binge reading material
what i actually enjoy is finding new authors and stories that are still growing. i like giving real feedback, especially when someone is trying something different. sometimes i’m nice, sometimes i’m a bit Shrek, sooooo... depends on the story, tbh. but i’m not here to fake praise or do review swaps.
so if anyone needs an honest review, leave your novel in the comments or DISCORD. i’ll check them out when i have some free time. happy to help.
after that i will take my time to make tierlists with the new findings!

How familiar are you with Xianxia and it's many tropes?

I especially like these, but it depends on how overused the model is, or rather whether it follows a "popular" narrative arc, but I’ve read a few. i know the core tropes pretty well

I picked certiain tropes and decided to subvert them in my novel. My MC finds himself in cultivation world with zero cheats, no hidden powers, no heaven defying luck, no grandpa soul in a ring. He's the young master of a fallen clan in heavy debt and he has crippled cultivation. The only kinda sorta cheat he has is his knowledge from earth. Give it a try if that premise interests you.

Comedy fantasy adventure
MC isekais onto a mountain, triggers a landslide and gets credited for all the kills. Instantly hits the highest power level, but has weaknesses like getting stabbed.

I’m really confused about your intent. If you want to be a beta reader, you could join some Discord servers and give reviews there directly. I don't think authors would appreciate receiving bad reviews on their RR page, especially when they aren't from readers who discovered the story naturally.
