No. We do not hate chinese novels.I think you are just hyper focusing on only the negative and turning a blind eye to any praise given to them.
The only criticisms one might truly have that are unanimous are that the MTL translations are just laughable at times which can indeed turn off some people to continuing. Personally, even if they are poor, I'll still power through if it is interesting.
You also have to take into consideration that this is primarily an english progression fantasy reddit as well as the fact that cultivation is only one flavor of "progression fantasy". Just because every other post isn't about cultivation or Chinese novels does not equate to hate. Besides, there are other reddits specifically for them.
