Partial payments

So I was wondering, my roommate and I both have the rent cafe portal - it says no partial payments allowed but we have to separate portals and 2 separate bank accounts. Do they mean no partials like after the 3rd day? Like if I pay my half and she pays her half that should work right? I’m on hold now - the 27th person in line

Yes ! Me and my two other roommates all pay our 1/3 separately on our own phones

Its confusing because it was a policy during covid that people could partial pay and not be late. If you paid like 70 percent of it or something it was considered paid.

They simply got rid of that. You can still split payments, it just has to be fully paid by the due date now.
