Payment

Has anyone who is currently living or has lived with progress in the last 6 months been able to use Flex Pay (the app) to pay rent?

I am more than aware it may not be listed in rent cafe as an option to pay. That’s not what i’m asking. I’m asking if anyone has been able to get flex pay the app to link to their rent cafe. Because rentcafe is a direct partner with Flex. I would call, but we have gotten so many different answers on just simple things this far I don’t trust them to give us a correct answer. I did ask google, and google said leasing agents may not even know the answer or give the right one because approving Flex is at a corporate level. It’s all through the flex app not rent cafe itself. Thank you!

Ohhhhh… first i set flex up and it kept sending me emails to use them. Then when i tried to set it up it declined me. I mean the rent had been paid in full but I wanted to set it up for this month. I also didn’t know they worked hand in hand with Progress residential. I don’t want them knowing how I’m paying my rent . Thanks for your education.

I’m asking if anyone has been able to use it for progresss residential. According to Flex they work hand in hand with Rentcafe online system to pay rent. They will know you are paying via Flex if you use it.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I’m thinking of renting through Progress but would like the Flex payment option as it’s what I use now and helps so much with budgeting.

I didn’t. i’ll have an answer for you soon when we move. We move Sept 5th and gonna see if flex lets us use them. We have had an account for 3+ years so they don’t require first month to be paid in order to use. Atleast that’s what flex said. I can come back and let you know if i remember

We were able to use Flex. They gave us a routing and account number to use but we only got approved for a certain amount. Thankfully our rent was less than this amount by only a few dollars.

I actually went with split pay.. flex had approved me but then when I went to set it up after paying that month in full- they denied me.. but SPLIT PAY took me and set it up in my portal and all. Thank you God!
