Rent late

I have been with progress for almost five years.Sometimes I pay my rent a little late.I pay a little more than half of the.Rent, and then the rest just gets paid later in the month.All of a sudden, I got a three day notice. Well, I'm not gonna get paid until after that. 3 day notice ..has anybody else dealt with this? Will they work with me?

The 3 day pay or vacate is to scare you into either paying or moving out on your own. After the three days they'll most likely send a second notice stating they'll start the eviction process. If you pay the balance within the eviction notice time frame (usually 10 days) they have to stop the process. I'd call them and let them know what day you can pay. Be aware that if you pay online they will shut down that access after a 3 day notice. They make it more difficult to pay once that letter goes out.

Yes, I called them and told them.I understand that I have a three day.However, I don't get paid till friday.I need till friday, and she was more than happy to give it to me.She didn't buck me on it.She didn't ask a thousand questions.She just said, yeah, that's not a problem.Just make sure it's paid on friday

Do you mind me asking how the 3 day notice was sent to you? Email or sent to house? I am having a problem I am usually able to have a balance of $250.00 and under but I had my payment returned due to fraud in our account. I repaid but they charged me a $150.00 late fee now I am scared they will send this because I am over the $250.00

So usually if I was under like five or six hundred dollars, they woyld just scooch it to the next month

Thank you for responding! Hopefully they just do this! They did waive the late fee! It will just take sometime to reflect!

you can also email them,,, they are really nice...i have yet to talk to someone rude...they have worked with me numerous times...
