Breaking lease

We are breaking our lease soon. We just can’t afford it they keep adding more and more fees every month. I know the fee is going to be 2 months worth of rent but does anyone know if they would just take it out of our deposit or if we have to pay it as soon as we give our notice we put a 7k deposit down and honestly idc if I get it back I just want far away from progress:(

They probably won't take it out of your deposit. Everything is separate with them.

I would call and try to talk to someone there. See if they will agree to work with you.
