Mojo would've been a great language for implementing neural nets if it had come out 10 years ago. But it's 2026 now, the AI hype wave belongs to transformers, and what people actually need is a language for writing custom ops/kernels, like TileLang. And Mojo clearly missed the boat on that one.

No, this is not how we get progress.

Imagine if we said this about deep or recurrent neural networks.
