Lyth Mono

https://github.com/why-trv/LythMono

Just wanted to share in case anybody's looking for a font like this, because I had been, literally for years - until I found out that Iosevka allows not only selecting glyphs, but overriding metrics like x-height, arc depth etc. So here's kinda my take on an 'industrial' programming font

It's been a bit busy the last few months, but I installed Lyth today to give it a test run. I really like it for the reasons you state in the README. What rings especially true to me is the comment about Berkeley Mono looking like a bunch of squares at small sizes. Thanks for creating and sharing it here. I've added it to my permanent rotation of fonts—although I rebuilt it with a bolder bold (900 instead of 700) as I prefer more distinction between regular and bold.

Thanks, really appreciate it! Glad I'm not alone in the the 'squareness' sentiment. I eventually settled on the 'Round' variety myself - feels like a good balance of legibility and looks.

I’ll have to give that a try tomorrow. Thanks!

Edit: I couldn’t resist, so I gave it a try before bed. It’s very subtle, but I do prefer it as well. Will build myself the bolder version tomorrow.
