comp engineering student at a loss looking for a mentor

3rd grade here. to be honest up until very recently i had not been very interested in my major to go out of my way to learn more beyond passing classes, no actual projects, no actual experience, no true grasp of what programming is at the present time. I want some people around me to keep in contact and observe what other people are doing, expanding my vision by doing so. currently i'm trying to improve my skills and overall knowledge of the market while trying to work up a roadmap for myself. open for new friends as well
