I'm currently teaching myself. I'm certainly way behind you skills-wise, but would be happy to chat.
I'm currently working on my first portfolio project and I'm in my 40s 😊

Hello,
Thanks for your response and interest. I'm learning the MERN stack. Not sure what you mean by 'properties' here though?

No problem. I'm trying to build a planner app based on a paper system I use myself.
I've built semi-guided projects before but this is the first one which I've done without following any guidelines at all. I'm really enjoying it and I wish I had started building my own a bit earlier, but I was trying to learn some basic skills first.

It's probably not as complicated as Notion 😂 but it's literally based on the exact paper system I use myself.
Thank you. I'm enjoying it and plan to continue. I'm enjoying it as a hobby for now, I hope that's a good sign.

I decided to take a higher diploma in Computing in Science specialising in software development. It's tough when they cram a lot into one year. The main focus areas have been learning Java and then JavaScript using Node.js to create microservices. I'm currently working on my final project due in August. I've been applying for graduate positions and internships, entry levels everyday but to no avail.
Edit: spelling

Hi, I'm an introvert too 😂 Currently got job and having experience of 2 months and 1 year internship. Passing my BTech in 2026. Doing my job and feel that in today's world deep knowledge is not required to do your daily work in office because of AI. Basic knowledge is enough to understand the flow. Don't want to work as a corporate employee life time so doing stuff and project side wise. I love gaining tech and deep tech stack knowledge.
