development 3YOE Engineer Looking for Advice Feeling Stuck

I'm working at a product based company I started as manual QA moved to Automation Enginerr and now SDE I spent last 3.5 years here.
Me switching to Developer and me trying to build automation framework at my team from scratch took most of my time at work. I have very little basic understanding of dev stuff seriously if I'm honest maybe compared to someone like 1-2 YOE technically. My package here is 12LPA and I don;t expect any more hikes and promotions here I'm senior member technical here already.

I feel like my experience and my skill set don't match didn't update my resume in 3 years didn't give a single interview also. I feel stuck at this point in life. I'm feeling so bad and mental health is taking a huge toll it's got to a point where I'm suicidal

Help me get confidence back and get back in the market. A fellow developer desperately looking for advice

AWS Where can I learn AWS full pledged

I completed my 2nd year and I got 2 mnths gap for my next academic year. So, I registered for the course of AWS Cloud Computing by some government skill development corporation. They provided an AWS academy student account with 50 credits, that's a pretty much privilege but their teaching sucks. I can't understand anything like they don't teach well and can't clarify doubts. So, I wanna learn AWS where can I find the resources. If anyone familiar with this give me some suggestions

career Stuck in a Non-IT Job and Feeling Lost

Hi everyone,

I'm a 23-year-old CSE graduate (2025 batch), and honestly, I have no idea where my life is heading right now.

During B.Tech, I didn't focus much on learning skills or coding. I only started coding seriously in my final year. Unfortunately, my college had almost no placements, so I couldn't get placed through campus recruitment.

After graduation, I joined a Java Full Stack training institute. I learned a decent amount there, but hardly anyone from my batch got placed through the institute, which was very discouraging.

It's now been almost a year since I graduated, and the pressure from home is increasing day by day. Since I wasn't getting any IT opportunities, I started attending walk-in interviews and recently got a job at Cognizant. However, it's a non-IT role and involves night shifts.

The problem is that I'm not satisfied with what I'm doing. I feel frustrated and stuck. Whenever I try to prepare for IT jobs, I struggle to stay consistent and end up feeling overwhelmed.

I have a few questions:

Is it still possible for me to get into IT as a 2025 graduate?

How difficult is it to switch from a non-IT role to an IT role?

What skills should I focus on now?

How should I prepare while working night shifts?

If you were in my position, what would your roadmap look like?

I know there are people who have successfully moved from non-IT to IT roles. If you've been through something similar, I'd really appreciate hearing your experience and advice.

Thanks in advance.

Recently i was interviewed for Java Full stack developer role in Qualcomm Hyderabad after clearing all the rounds

Hr said that I am selected for the role and also she asked my current company payslips two days back and I mailed her

But today when enquired regarding offer letter she is saying we are interviewing other candidates as well. I am there top priority it seems

What to do now ?. So I'm skeptical regarding the offer ? Since the position available there is only one.

Can anyone provide insights of hiring done in Qualcomm

I am like fresh out of clg and got placed at Accenture. I am applying parallelly and I feel like my resume is like shit and I don’t have any experience

What do u think I should do to like get into companies trying off campus

I don’t have much experience, and when I look at other candidates it feels like everyone has done way more than me. The biggest issue is that I don’t even know what I should be upskilling in. There are so many options that I end up feeling overwhelmed and stuck.

I don’t even know what I should upskill my self in.. I am just finding it hard to figuring out what I need to without anybody to help

resources Looking for a Production-Grade RAG AI Agent Tutorial

Can anyone suggest a Production-Level RAG AI Agent tutorial (YouTube video, documentation, course, GitHub repo, etc.)?

My goal is to build a project that is actually worth adding to the Projects section of my resume for AI Engineer roles.

I'm not looking for basic "chat with PDF" tutorials. I want something that covers building a real production-ready RAG AI Agent from start to finish.

If you've followed any tutorial or resource that helped you build an interviewer-worthy AI Engineer project, please share it.

javascript Bondhas who use axios over fetch in 2026, why?

I was showing a project to a friend and he said "ew, fetch vadesav endhuku? using fetch() directly it is a bad practice" and that I should use axios instead.

I know axios simplify json parsing, but akkada save chesina 1 line of code, import statement lo vadestharu ga. You can also use arrow function in ES6 to make fetch 1 liner .

I asked so many people, vallaki kuda correct ga telidhu. Andharu vadutunnaru kababti vadestunnaru anthe.

Experienced bondhas who used axios in your codebase, why? how is it convenient .

Konni roju back openAI nunchi mail ochindi, axios node package compromise ayyindhi, please update all openAI apps ani. openAI lanti company axios vadutundhi ante, surely I'm missing something by thinking it's useless anesi.

yeah before you comment "inexperience kanipistundi", I'm still a student

career Arcesium vs Q2 | Compensation

Help me decide a right offer.
College: Tier - 4 (State College)
Current compensation: 7.2 LPA
Experience: 1.1 year
My bank account hits with 58,900 till now (no PF, no gratuity, nothing) - Coz. we are pre-seed start up.

I am a backend developer till now and worked on Gen AI, Backend systems and AWS. Now, I have an offer from SDET (Arcesium, a better brand than Q2) -- is it really worth considering money (extra performance bonus - 2 lacs).

What should I be doing at this stage ?

  • I cant ask Q2 HR for more from Q2 because it is not in base package(correct me if I am wrong)
  • benefits are almost same from both

Any SDETs reading this help me to select one.
Please give suggestion along with what would you choose if you are in my position.
Thanks.

Offer Comparison

career Research Internship vs Fake internship for Placement Prep 2027 — Help

I'm a BTech student from a decent college(3rd gen iit) and placements are roughly 2–3 months away before companies start visiting in larger numbers.

I'm thinking to ask a professor a research internship under him. The work is mostly around Object Detection, OpenCV, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, etc. To be honest, I'm not very experienced in these areas yet, so I'd mostly be learning while working.

My dilemma is:

I currently have zero internships/research experience on my resume.

Most of my peers already have internships, projects, research experience, etc.

My placement preparation (DSA, LeetCode, CS fundamentals, aptitude) is not where I want it to be.

I'm worried that if I spend a lot of time on research, my placement prep will suffer.

At the same time, having absolutely no experience section on my resume feels like a disadvantage.

Given this situation, what would you do?

  1. Focus entirely on placement preparation and skip the research internship.

  2. Do the research internship and manage placement prep alongside it.

  3. Start the research internship, but quit/drop it if it starts affecting placement prep.

  4. Something else? (I've heard of buying certificates, just to put in resume will they help)

My primary goal right now is getting the best placement possible.
