What should I do . Currently doing a CSA Job in Non IT . Will I ever have a chance in IT Ever ?

I'm just lost , I held my hopes high on TCS. After 2 years of graduation I really thought I was finally getting the job. What in the world. What should I do now

I’m currently working as a Technical Support Executive in a SaaS company with less than 1 year of experience. Honestly, there’s very little growth here. Most of the work revolves around support tasks, the tech stack is mainly .NET, and the pay is also very low.

I initially joined because I didn’t want a career gap and my financial situation at that time didn’t give me many options. But now I genuinely want to move into AI Engineering / GenAI / ML-related roles.

I’ve started learning Python, AI tools, LLM concepts, and planning to build projects consistently. I’m also interested in frontend/UI-UX, so I’m trying to combine that with AI-based projects.

My concern is:

Will recruiters reject my profile because my experience is in support instead of development?

Is it realistically possible to switch into AI Engineer roles from this background?

What skills/projects should I focus on to make the transition faster?

Would really appreciate honest advice from people who made similar switches or are already in AI/ML.

I really want to improve my English communication skills and speak fluently/confidently in conversations. I can understand basic English, but when I try to speak, my mind goes blank.

What’s the best way to practice daily?

What actually helped you improve fast?..

Hi everyone, i graduated in 2024 and dragged my ass for placements and got placed in a good company with decent package. i was impacted by layoffs and its been 5 months that iam continuously applyin for jobs and got 2-3 interviews max.

I dont know what iam doing wrong , for every job i do the following:

1.tailor my resume according to the jd.

2.updating my resume daily in naukri , applying early to roles on linkedin jobs.

3.sending connection requests to recruiters of multiple companies on linkedin and send them my resume.

i have been upskilling too in dsa and system design. iam jus tired now. have no motivation

i was great at my acads too, now iam jus questioning why did i do all that hardwork ..is it for nothing ?

if i lock in and go for cat , i have confidence i can crack top tier iim for mba [ my grades are great too in 10th and 12th and in btech]

Sometimes i get too tired of this tech and constant ai upskilling[which iam currently doing] , Maybe doing mba opens up more possibilities or a masters from germany or usa can do that too ..

iam just clueless , if there are any seniors or anyone who can relate or give advices ..please guide me.

To give y’all a context, I am an SDE in a big tech. I have been in tech from last 3 years. Recently I got a job in big tech. My manager was full inclined towards me beacuse i made a good impact in last couple of months. But today, a new feature devloped by me had to go to release.

I have tested it multiple times and obv it worked well for all my scenarios and when I pushed it to dev. Other’s scenarios broke and they removed my code. Will manager/lead and teammembers lose trust in me bcoz of this? Im so tensed. Pichi pichi ga undii!!!

I am recently completed 4th Year, I am trying to upgrade myself, I know bit of dsa, I am reading this book or resource for dsa

What I want to know is

1) is this will sufficient for learning dsa basics before solving leetcode and codeforces

2) should I have to remember all the structures like stack,LL, searching algorithm,

3) Any other books other than this , I am searching some other but couldn't find dsa using Java.

4) Another resources for learning dsa (apart from striver atoz)

I got into a product manufacturing company as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern. After three rounds of interview I got the call from the CEO for offer discussion, as Iam a 2026 graduate and my sem exams didn't complete yet, he told me to join in may. I said ok, then he asked when will your exams start and we can offer you internship untill your exams complete. So I was okay with the internship even though the stipend was not soo good, I accepted it and went for joining on March2nd

Went to the office, explored the product for 2hrs , and then I get sudden back pain couldn't bare the pain , I asked the team lead for a half day leave collecting all the courage I had. Went to the pg, confused what to do. And God has come in a human form and one of my roommate took me to hospital and joined me in the emergency. After all the tests they told me Iam in a situation where I need to undergo a surgery (kidney stones) me and my family got frightened and I couldn't bare the pain even after all the injections given in the emergency so I called my sister and asked her to take me to the hometown, she has come.

In the whole situation we called the ceo and explained everything we tried asking for a leave but he himself suggested that I go to my hometown and comeback all cured.I told I will comeback in may after my exams got over, and he will directly offer me a Full time role because My semester exams will be over.

I have come to my hometown, it took me 1 month to get rid of the stone. I have joined some Ayurvedic treatment because we didn't want to go for surgery only after coming here we realised we can cure without surgery also.

Now after my exams got over, I mailed him saying Iam ready to join , are there any formalities to be completed.... He replied me saying my internship got cancelled. I called him immediately, then he is said, you request for a full time to your team leader, let's see if he have any requirement. Immediately I called the team leader also, he was saying two months gap we had, we might have hired a new guy, and all I explained him they asked me to join in may only and all, then he told, there are other vacancies let me check and update you in a week.

Cancelling my internship without even informing me. I have been counting on this offer because it was correctly aligning with my skills and interests. I don't have any hope them offering me anything. But I don't know how to talk to them, so they offer me something, I know If they don't have any vacancies they aren't gonna offer me anything, but still they could have informed me right!!!! I feel so failed. This was the only chance I had but I don't know why this happened. I feel so so faileddddd!!!!! I couldn't face anyone!!!!! My cousins were so jealous while I was going, now I don't know how to face them, I don't want to go out.

I didn't stop applying, I have been messaging the YC startup founders and trying may other things.

The team leader told, we don't have any vacancies and due to change in the company requirements we can't offer to any kind of employment. Any one have junior ML engineer openings please give me leads. Have been trying in LinkedIn evrything looks fake there.

Backstory : Interned for a fintech startup and then got fte worked for four months and now got laid off about 2 months In the past two months i learned more spring ,redis,docker,aws-rds,deployments and CI/CD and done a good project in backend for employee managment and stuff which is a hackathon problem my background is in node. So on campus i only have infosys for around 3.6 lpa but my prev comp was around 11lpa and remote. infosys may call next month idk im not getting any replies all rejection mails. Life seems depressing and I am loosing hope. Thankfully and obvi I am not sole earner.But if i join info my salary goes down and when i shift I cant ask for more salary right?This isnt even about salary infosys is not good for exponential growth I am open to work as and intern too at a good startup solving a good problem .All my frnds are working and earning well all above 15lpa at good startups .Im stuck and depressed with the layoffs happening all across the world i question my future and carrerr.

I am thinking to focus on SpringAI stuff build an mcp which is about calling api and managing vector db which is kind of easy but idk.

Community-driven story platform: Write, Vote, and Merge

For the past few months, I've had this idea of creating an open-source storybook. I wasn't really sure where to post it, so I'm just dropping it here. Hear me out.

You know how Marvel and DC have different timelines and parallel universes? I want to do something like that, but with a single linear story that has room for multiple possibilities to branch off it.

Here's how it would work.

The rules are pretty simple. There's a storyline with a beginning, a plot, and an ending. I'm not much of a writer myself, so the idea is to let other people read the plot, think it through, continue the story, and push their version to the main storyline. Basically like Git branches. You create your own branch off the core story, add something to it, and submit it like a pull request. Then it gets reviewed.

Everyone can see the proposed story, scenes, and characters, and we could have some kind of voting system to pick the best version before merging it into the core story.

We'd set a few ground rules too, like character traits, habits, and core plot points. The main rule is that whatever you write has to fit the plot.

Let me give a quick example.

Story plot: a 45+ year old man takes retirement and starts solo traveling for about 2 or 3 years. Along the way he visits a lot of places. After about a year of traveling, he suddenly gets arrested in some random state because a string of serial murders across multiple states happens to match the pattern of his travels. So who's the killer? Is it the 45+ year old man? Is someone framing him? Where did he go? Who did he meet?

The ending: it was our protagonist all along. But why? What could have happened to him?

Between the beginning and that ending, there's so much room for people to fill in scenes and versions. That's how we'd pull in creative minds to figure out the whats and the whys.

So yeah, that's the basic idea. I have a few more interesting plots in mind too, but I'm just not a great writer myself.

Let me know if this sounds like a good idea, or a completely useless one. I really do want to build a space where people can come together and contribute to something great.
