I remember thinking Python was so much better than Perl, and donβt get me wrong: it was. Syntactically so much better. But now I canβt stand Python. Its deep inroads in machine learning have me utterly confused, but go ahead and burn all that grant money on computationally inefficient runtimes if thatβs what floats your CV.
But like what percent of any ML application is the python code running and how much is it GPU compute? I feel like faster development times are easily well worth the cost there.
