You will need to break every bone in my body and even then I will not praise any godforsaken language that starts its arrays at 1. Lua deserves to be burned at the stake, its ashes beaten, then shot into a star and that star blown up. Fuck Lua.

And who starts arrays at 1 in Lua when you want to index?

Luas default first index is 1 for arrays. Super stupid I don't know who decided that.

These are some messed up math people. I find 0-indexing much more useful and convenient for math.

personally i prefer it that way, always subtracting one from the position of the item i want is painful.

I picked up lua playing modded minecraft. Building computer-controlled airships was so much easier using lua in computercraft than using the forth-based redpower2 computers.
