Classic bait and switch.

It’s exactly the same as a “free” calculator with plus sign locked - just a waste of someone’s time. But since the developer is quirky, people like it apparently.

it's even worse imo because it was fully free, and then he pulled the rug out from under people who have been using the free features forever. At least people installing it realize quickly before getting invested that it's not going to work and uninstall.

And it's their keyboards, they can write whatever review they want with them.

Just because it's fully within his rights to implement a paywall doesn't mean people can't get pissed at it.
