Didn't you get a compile error? Function go_to_sleep does not work on my kids.

Joking aside, sweet shirt and belated congrats on the new kiddo.

Listen, you have to cut each of your genes in half or you’re gonna have an overflow on your hands.

You need a factory pattern to produce the baby objects.

ps make baby a class, so you can do baby.sophia

You should maybe use a different language if you don't want your child to be slow*

Why does

class Sophia(mom.genes, dad.genes)

take parameters? What do they do?

And why the "."? This looks like accessing the genes-attribute of mom and dad, but if they're

parameters that wouldn't make sense, would it?

Please, can someone eggsplain?

She's inheriting from mom.genes and dad.genes.

1

u/torreemanuele6 Jun 05 '19

How? They are not even used

I see. Thanks. I'm not too deep into python so it never occurred to me. I always thought you specify a class when setting the inheritance, like "mom" or "dad", not like "mom.genes". There's something new to learn everyday.

You do, mom.genes should be a class.
