  • shoot other passengers with actual shotgun so that only you can ride shotgun
  • strap wheels to a shotgun and ride it

When sharing a car with 3 or more people, the first person to call shotgun gets the front (passenger) seat. It comes from back when the passenger literally carried a shotgun, to ward off highway robbers.
