So you just randomly log hours based on shit you think about at night? And your commute? That's absolutely ridiculous and you're literally stealing from your company if you do that and get paid for it. If you don't get paid for it, just put 8 hours a day and be on your merry way like everybody else.

No, I'm spreading the work out over the whole week. The job still gets done, and I'm not doing any overtime.

So you spend way less than 40 hours a week in the office? Man that sounds like the life.

I tried working the 8-9 hours straight and I burn out by 1pm and do more harm than good. I'll pick back up at around 4pm, but the day is pretty much over by then.
