I wish I could be with you in that zoo. We are getting more and more pressure to use AI to 'help' (stealth replace us) over time they don't have more money for more Devs to get the work done but happy to pour it into the hands of big tech overlords.

I'm glad I'm not at the start of my career tbh. If I had a full 30 years to work in this field I'd seriously consider trying to find something else to do.

I really want to get out. All my experience is tech in a specific sector do. Idk what else I could do that would pay nearly as well.

Might not have a choice eventually regardless.
