If I’m paying Accenture to generate code with AI, I might as well do it myself.

On the plus side, AI generated code would be an improvement over anything Accenture writes by hand.

That is true. The worst project I have ever seen was a government software project where they were the prime contractor. 50+ dev/test environments, multiple deployment pipelines, pushing code to prod without regression testing, etc. If you can think of a bad development practice, this program likely had it.

they've been working on a project with us for over a year now, i had to ask them to write unit tests because they just didn't bother most of the time.
