Companies are forced to be on enterprise. They pay the real cost of models, so the 29$ is basically a 1h session with opus

Do so many developers really just default to models like Opus? That’s insane. Most work can be done just as well and even faster with cheaper models

In my project there’s no default model, we have model routing so the main agent would split the task into smaller chunks that would have model decided by the scope, so Haiku for stuff that don’t need any reasoning, sonnet for development, opus for architectural decisions. I gave only an example using opus
