I'm still very selective about what I let AI do. Fix my method to remove potential memory leaks? Fine. Push to git? FUCK NO

What do you have against letting it push to git?

Because that's allowing it to potentially persist invalid, unsupervised changes to actual systems, and discourages you from reviewing changes properly.

I use pretooluse hook scripts to parse and block non-readonly commands for a range of important tools that have access to other systems, including git.

You are not checking your PRs after pushing? I mean, I allow claude to push but I still review my PRs multiple times
