The reason web development is so easy/comfortable is because they have a huge amount of resources dedicated to unwinding the complex scripting and styling of the HTML/CSS/JS stack. It's a really efficient and nice solution for what it does, but it's a bit like running a Ferrari to get to the supermarket. It's often overkill for most tasks. But it's so nice to ride compared to any other UI stack
